Ariel Matz
Welcome to Ariel Matz Consulting! I’m passionate about helping differently abled individuals shine in school, work, and community settings. With over 15 years of experience starting with Teach for America, I’ve worked as a special educator, instructional coach, and Equity Lead, leading efforts to build inclusive environments.
As a consultant, I’ve created a Volunteer to Career Work Program, designed curriculum for Inclusive Pathways to Success, delivered workshops on best practices in education and had the privilege of supporting individuals and their families on their journeys. As a leader at the S. John Davis Career Center, I partnered with VCU’s Center on Transition Innovations to deepen my knowledge of person centered planning and supported employment. Today, I collaborate with organizations like the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh and the Bunny Bakes Training Program to support inclusive programming.
At the heart of my work is a belief that everyone deserves to feel valued and have opportunities to grow. Let’s create those opportunities together!
